Getting started

Let's setup your Coltiva device.

1. Water level sensor mounting (don't fill up your reservoir before reading this!)

The water level sensor must be mounted to the bottom of the reservoir.

The sensor uses ultrasonic waves to measure the level. The waves travel through the container bottom and the liquid to the surface, where they are reflected and travel back to the sensor.

The sensor must be mounted with the supplied glue. Prepare the bottom of your tank, and the sensors, by cleaning their surfaces with ethyl alcohol.
